How ever the movie The Lamb never did get made Brooks kept his alter-ego and even did a guest appearance as Chris Gaines on SNL (Saturday Night Live). Garth in preparation for the roll created an alter ego named Chris Gaines and under the name of Chris Gaines, Brooks changed his appearance and recorded an album called Garth Brooks… In The Life of Chris Gaines. The Lamb was going to star Garth Brooks as a punk rocker named Chris Gaines. In the year 2000 there was a movie rumored to be made called The Lamb. With singles such as Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old), Shameless, Ain`t Goin`Down (Til`The Sun Comes Up), Rodeo, The Thunder Rolls, Friends In Low Places, not to mention many more Garth became the number one country music singer of the 90`s. From there on in there was nowhere for him to go but straight to the top. In about 1989 a country artist from Oklahoma burst on to the music scene with a song called Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old) that artist Garth Brooks.
